Jesse McFadden

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jesse Hamilton McFadden on March 20, 2024. He was born on August 27, 1982 in Redding, California to Wanda and Bruce McFadden. As his mother was employed by the U.S. Forest Service, young Jesse lived in several locations including Northern California, Oregon, and Pennsylvania.

In 1997 Wanda and Jesse returned to McCloud, California, where he completed his elementary education and attended high school. He loved sports and was an avid baseball, football, and basketball player.

After high school Jesse worked at the Mount Shasta Ski Park; he also worked as a tow truck operator and a roofer.

He loved the outdoors which included hiking, fishing, snowboarding, and riding motorcycles. He also enjoyed black powder shooting at the annual family rendezvous and listening to music. Jesse especially loved spending time with family and his two adorable children Mason and Ella.

Jesse leaves behind his mother Wanda, and stepfather Lony Patton of Big Springs, father Bruce(Patrice) McFadden of Auburn, CA, son Mason (mother Kamala Johnson) of Yreka, CA and daughter Ella (mother Korina Henry) of Weed, CA. Jesse was preceded in death by grandparents Wayne and Helen Foster of McCloud and stepfather Michael Mata of Colorado.

Jesse will be remembered for his warm heart and infectious smile. He will also be dearly missed by endless family members and friends. A celebration of life is scheduled to be held at Squaw Valley Riding Club in McCloud on May 18, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
